She has over thirty years of experience in human Services, education administration, and management, as well as part-time collegiate instruction. She has presented at Conferences of the American Association of Christian Counselors’, at local Church Women’s retreats, and Mission programs, at State Correctional Facilities, and Professional and Community Programs. She is a published writer, and has hosted a radio broadcast, “God’s Teaching Moment”.
Her Christian Journey includes short term outreach mission assignments in Japan, South Africa, and Jamaica. Her goals include future short-term mission as God so directs. She is a widow, a mother, a grandmother, the ninth child of Willie and Lucy Simuel (both deceased). She is a native Detroiter. Dr. Jackson is a called minister of the Gospel, and was endorsed for Chaplaincy clergy by the National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc. Home Mission Board in June 2004. Her vineyard is the prisons of the world. She is a certified teacher for the Sunday School Publishing Board, has a certification in Substance Abuse counseling, and certificates in Mental health services. Dr. Jackson was licensed Minister of the Gospel November 13, 2005.
